Montco Research Products, Inc. was established in 1965 in Montgomery county, Pennsylvania by founder and President, Maurice E. Miville. The company relocated to Hollister, Florida in 1972.
The plant site sits on 100 acres of land about 70 miles south of Jacksonville. We have specialized in high vacuum distillation and custom manufacturing for over 40 years. Our commitment and dedication to producing the highest quality product for the lowest possible price, has made us the largest manufacturer of 1-Chloromethylnaphthalene and Ethyl Benzyl Chloride in the United States.

Montco has been producing this product for 40 years. There are several differnet qualities that are offered from Technical Grade (97+% 1+2-CMN) to Pharmaceutical Grade (99+% 1-CMN). We manufacture the purest form of Alpha Chloromethylnaphthalene ever produced.
Ethyl Benzyl Chloride (EBC)
Montco has been the leading producer of EBC in the United States for 20 years. Since we increased our production at the begining of 1999, our sales have reached an all time high. We now have the capacity to supply every Ethyl Benzyl Chloride customer in the world.
1-Naphthalddhyde (ANA)
Montco not only produces ANA, but also manufactures some of the raw materials to make this product. We offer some of the best quality in the industry and have been doing so for 35 years.
